ORANGE1 RACING RENEWS THE PARTNERSHIP WITH FFF RACING TEAM AND LAMBORGHINI SQUADRA CORSE
With an impressive 2019 season in the records, in which ORANGE1 FFF Racing Team by ACM, conquers all the titles offered in the Blancpain GT Series Championship, the Holding of Donazzan, could only renew the partnership with FFF Racing Team and Lamborghini Squadra Corse, raising the bar even further and going to compete worldwide in the championship created by SRO for carmakers: the International GT Challenge. For the first time, both the team and the Italian manufacturer will attend the Championship. 2020 will mark the fifth edition of the championship created to reward manufacturers, and the results conquered last year were a clear reason for Lamborghini Squadra Corse to entrust the team.
The inaugural race of the season will be the Bathurst 12 hours, in Australia, on February 2nd, and four other rounds are planned in the calendar, with stops at the Spa 24 Hours in July, the Suzuka 10 Hours in August, the Indianapolis 8 Hours in October and the final round in November, the 9 Hours of Kyalami.
Big news not only regarding the championship but also for the design aspect:
Orange1 FFF Racing Team is ready to unveil the new car livery that has been specially designed to commemorate the 2019 successes, and the logo of ORANGE1 certainly makes a clear point of last year’s achievements by FFF Racing and its partner on European soil, from the triumphs in the Blancpain GT Series to the win in the FIA Motorsport Games. The idea developed by Roger Dubuis for the Vallelunga event is the starting point of the 2020 season’s livery, studied to be clearly recognized in a very high-level competition field. The FFF Racing car livery will also be easy to recognize for the media and is also represented on the Assetto Corsa Competizione cover.
Armando Donazzan, Orange1 President
“I would like to thank once again Lamborghini Squadra Corse and FFF Racing Team, I’m happy and honored to continue this project together, I can say that it was one of my dreams to build a project that has a solid future and that is considered won. Through Sport and the world of racing we aim to transmit our philosophy: Speed, effort, sacrifice and passion. Values that I had found right away in Lamborghini and then in every member of the FFF Racing Team, most especially, Andrea Caldarelli who, in addition on being a top driver, has proved to be beyong of every expectation.
I’m so glad to have with us also in this new season an excellent partner like Roger Dubuis, that were with FFF Racing Team since debut in 2014.
It will be a busy season in all respects, but I am sure that we will achieve great results again this year.”
