Extraordinary success for ORANGE1 FFF Racing Team by ACM at Le Mans, where alongside the prestigious 24 Hours, the Road To Le Mans took place as the main support event to this unusual 2020 edition of the marathon race in La Sarthe. Those successes follow the Pro-Am win scored last weekend in the GT World Challenge Europe race at the Nürburgring. The Chinese squad scored with Andrea Caldarelli and Hiroshi Hamaguchi two amazing wins in both races on Friday and Saturday. Despite what the result may let think, winning wasn’t an easy job, as a very competitive field forced Caldarelli and Hamaguchi to be always on the edge. The Lamborghini Huracan EVO GT3 proved very competitive as shown in qualifying, with ORANGE1 FFF Racing Team by ACM posing a hat trick in Race 1, or in other words, pole position, win and fastest lap during the race, while in Race 2, due to a moisty track, the win arrived in a photo-finish duel. After this emotional race, a one-off in the 2020 programmed, ORANGE1 FFF Racing Team by ACM is now focused on the biggest event of the year, the 24 Hours of Spa-Franco champs.

“This week-end in Le Mans was crazy! We came with so many question marks, as we didn’t know the environment nor the tires. Both Andrea and Hiroshi made an amazing job to find their limit and the car’s one, while our team guys showing their usual professionalism and ensuring a great result. This was a kind of open chapter for us as a team, because we set our European debut in the series a few years ago, we are still quite young, but today I think we’ve shown that we can be able to fight in every situation. Now it’s time to keep our minds 100% focused on Spa-Francorchamps, our main goal for the 2020 season”.
